OUR ROOTS

The Pattah brothers began their business venture in the late 1970’s owning and operating grocery stores. Since then they have been recognized as major developers in the Detroit area. Today, the Pattah organization owns and operates a chain of grocery stores in the Detroit market; in 2006 being the largest independent to purchase fourteen Farmer Jack locations along with their real estate from the parent company A&P (The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co.) Over the years, the company has sold properties to companies such as Meijer, Kroger, Food Basics and many other chain stores. With development projects ranging from 15,000 to 350,000 square feet, Pattah Development overlooks, develops and manages each site.
